Bring Our Girls to the United Nations Embassy!
Our Native Girls Youth Group, the Daughters of Tradition (DOT) Ambassadors, are raising funds to travel to New York City to meet Global Leaders at the United Nations and share about their ideas on Native youth mental health and bridging the UN's Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) as their initiative to improving the lives and mental health outcomes for their generation and generations to come.

Their goal is to raise $80,000 to bring 18 youth, their parent chaperone, and our team facilitators. All funds raised go directly to supporting travel, lodging, meals, supplies, and a UN youth leadership kit!
Donate a UN Kit for a girl!
We are looking to build UN Peacekeeper kits for each girl! Each kit costs $125 and includes: Sustainable Development Goals Pin, lanyard, mug, t-shirt, folder, journal, water bottle, pen and bag! See kit items below.

Investing in Their Future
Our CAM™ Daughters of Tradition (DOT) Indigenous Intertribal and Intergenerational Youth Group started in 2017, was inspired by the legacy work of Elder Coyhis, Founder of White Bison Organization and the Daughters of Tradition Native Youth Program.
Our girls group focus on bridging the gap to wellness through matriarchal leadership, sisterhood and community building. As a cornerstone to improving their mental health, wellness, and advocacy skills, they are the change advocates to violence prevention and healing informed CAM™ Next Generation Cycle Starters™.
Our DOT girls are on a mission to bring their Indigenous voices to community spaces and speak on mental health and social justice issues that matter to them, their families and their communities. An intergenerational mentorship group, our girls lead by example. They learn from our CAM™ Therapists, Healers and Advocates to be proud of all that makes them ready to be the next generation of healers, helpers and leaders in our communities.
In 2022, they traveled to Washington D.C. to speak to Indigenous leaders, and it is their goal to visit the United Nations Embassy in NYC in 2025 to do the same!
The girls have identified seven of the seventeen Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) to focus on fostering meaningful dialogue, and drive tangible change aligned with our core values of healing for the next seven generations.

The seven Sustainable Development Goals the girls chose are #3 Good Health & Wellbeing, #5 Gender Equality, #8 Decent Work & Economic growth, #13 Climate Action, # 14 Life Below Water, #15 Life on Land, & #16 Peace, Justice and strong institutions.

The 15-foot Medicine Wheel ribbon skirt worn in this video was carried across the Nation by Katrina Brook Flores who collaborated with Native grandmothers, aunties, sisters, and daughters from different Tribal communities to bring their intentions, love, and strength to all that wear this skirt.

"The DOT Sisters enlist ARTivist moments of reflection and video documentation during their trip while connecting with the Ribbon Skirt in a collective calling for healing, hope and a flourishing future."
